In this workshop we will explore the subtleties of aroma in all its variances through the use of Essential Oils and some Fragrant Oils. Your end game will be to construct your personal perfume in either an organically infused alcohol base or Vanilla infused Jojoba base using pure Essential Oils and/or some fragrant oils according to your preferences. This will afford you the opportunity to design a natural perfume rather than using those primarily on offer right now which are over 95% constructed from synthetics fragrances. You will be working with over 100 different Essential Oils plus several Fragrant Oils but before we begin with your creation we will first investigate types of scents, their bodily effects i.e. Erogonic, Stimulating, Aphrodisiac, Refreshing etc.
We will also explore fragrance types as defined by perfumers and define the types of perfumes you are usually drawn to use. It will be a day where you to find out really what makes you tick in the world of aroma and scents. No special or previous knowledge about scents is required as we will explore this together.
