Artemis

Artemis

ARTEMIS was the great Olympian goddess of hunting, wilderness and wild animals.
The deer and the cypress are sacred to her.
She was also a Goddess of childbirth, and the protectress of girls child up to the age of marriage.
She takes seriously her role as guardian of young children and patron of women in childbirth and fertility

The daughter of Leto and Zeus, she was the twin sister of Apollo, and born on the island of Delos.
In the Trojan war she sided, like Apollo, with the Trojans.
The priests and priestesses devoted to her service were bound to live pure and chaste,
and trangressions of their vows of chastity were severely punished.

Artemis tells us that women can do anything. She offers strength, support and comfort as you move forward in your
quest to find the perfect you. Artemis encourages you keep unwavering in your thoughts and feelings,
knowing no matter what you will succeed. Let no faint wind distract you from your mission. Release all doubts.
